FlatRate's commercial relocation manages all types of office moves, from simple executive relocation floor to floor, to moving entire corporate operations from one city to another, across the country, or overseas. Step I: The preplanning meeting FlatRate's preplanning eliminates any business interruptions. Prior to your move, a Relocation Consultant will devise the most effective moving plan for you.
Step II: Material delivery at your convenience, all the necessary boxes and tags will be dropped off so your personal items can be packed. Our representative will be on hand during the setup and packing procedure. We provide and pack boxes designed for special items such as mirrors, paintings, antiques, and other artwork.
Step III: Marking and tagging your items will be marked prior to the move in accordance with the floor plan. We will then proceed to the new space and label each office in accordance with the floor plan to ensure the proper placement of items.
Step IV: Protection in accordance with your building's specifications, your office floors and walls, as well as common areas, will be properly protected. We will set up wall coverings and masonite for that purpose.

Step V: Packing and preparation our crew will arrive to pack the contents of the entire office, including files, blueprints, fax machines, copiers, computers, and pictures. We will wrap and protect all office furniture and items to be moved. For moving libraries, we utilize library carts to maintain the order and integrity of your books. The crew will then preload the items onto dollies to ensure quick use of the elevator on the move day.
Step VI: The move at the prearranged time, the crew, all equipment, and your foreman will arrive at your location to begin loading the designated items onto the trucks. FlatRate teams use various organizational methods, depending on the move being performed. FlatRate determines the safest and most efficient approach.
Step VII: Unpacking and setup.
Your furniture will be fully wrapped and padded. Any crating, assembly, or disassembly of
previously designated pieces will be done.
The move your belongings will be delivered to your new location. Our moving
teams are courteous and professionally trained to move any item from simple
book boxes to delicate antiques. Each move is supervised by a foreman who
assures that you receive correct information, proper documentation and
fulfillment of any last-minute requests. During your move, he remains in
constant contact with our headquarters via radio dispatch.
Setup our crew will unwrap and setup your furniture to your satisfaction.
