The best choice for Los Angeles Movers (04/12/2007)
Flat rate moving went above and beyond to make my move as easy and with no stress as possible. We cannot thank them enough for making this experience so pleasant- it is hard for us emotionally to move out of a place we loved but had to leave due to a new sweet addition to our family! :) I was very impressed with their work -from start to finish. I highly recommend them to everyone looking for a good moving company. Especially for families moving with kids as it can get tough!
Flat Rate Mover - No hidden cost (04/03/2007)
I've moved several times in the past , most of the time with different companies but i just had the best move in my life on the last week with FlatRate. Marian gave us a guaranteed price over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon their local dispatch called us and confirmed the job and went over the details.He also seemed very polite and professinal,- i believe hi's name was Chris- and assured us everything is going as it planed and the movers will come tomorow @ 9 am. Not only did they show up on time but they packed nearly our entire apartment. Shortly after arriving Cleo the forman provided us with detailed information about the day and they started to work right away. Thank god they came with extra boxes and moving supplies and actually that we didn't even realize we will be needed! The packing obviously took much longer but once we arrived at our house they unpacked us in record time and even help us to reassemble our furniture. This was a painless move and really had a great time with the movers. ( Sorry I can't remember everybody's names.... ) The guys were very nice and honest and they couldn' t make the move more faster and more efficient and i must say, we were extremely pleased with their service. Very fast, friendly and efficient and very professional company which I wouldn't hesitate to use again and highly recommend to everybody ! Best movers I've ever used. I had an outstanding service with them.

Local or Long Distance Movers - Great Service (04/02/2007)
The first time I used Flatrate is when they moved my doctor's office to Santa Monica. I was a little worried about my expensive equipment but when I saw how efficient they bubble wrapped & packed those things I was impressed. Everything went smooth & the price remained the same. I also used them for my own personal move. Will recommend them to my colleagues & family.

Flat Rate packed us and shipped our household from Green Valley, CA near Santa Clarita to San Andreas, CA in the Sierra foothills.The crew was prompt, professional, personable and considerate. Our things were moved and set up with virtually no loss or damage. The crew went out of its way to be helpful and considerate. They offered us little conveniences that we would not have thought to request. No one in the throes of moving a household could consider the task a pleasure. But being looked after by folks that go out of their way to take the pain out of it sure helps a lot. Well Done!

I moved last week with Flat Rate Movers and it was EXCELLENT experience....everyone was very thorough, very responsible, very accomodating. The price was as promised. I would absolutely use FlatRate Movers again for our next move, whenever it may be. And we would absolutely reccomend Flat Rate to our friends and all citysearch. This is the only company that provides customers with a Flat Rate. That is a great concept, because you never know how long the move takes or how bad the traffic is or what surprises you will get at the end of the move. Great, Great Service.
Los angeles Moving Company that makes your move painless (02/08/2007)
I never thought that moving is such a pain. i was planning on renting a truck and doing everything by myself. When I realized that I have to rent protection pads for the furniture, boxes for my computer, TV, stereo etc… and then gas, tolls that I have to pay – it was too much of a hassle for me to deal with. I called couple moving companies and all I got is hourly rate with a guess of a total bill. When I called FlatRate – sales rep. went into the minor details and asked me every possible question about my relocation. In 5 minutes he provided me with all inclusive guaranteed price. On the day of my move movers were on time and did exactly what a sales rep. told me on the phone. Professional and fun – this is how I can summarize my move in two words.

Flat Rate movers were fantastic…not only did they arrive early, but they were all so very pleasant and upbeat. They worked extremely hard, were extremely courteous and accommodating to my needs. I did not hear them complain at all. I believe they put in 150% effort during the move. Because of their expertise and their positive attitude, I would recommend them specifically and FlatRate movers in general to anyone who needs movers. I had a very positive experience and I thank you. Ray, Julio and Anthony deserve to be recognized for their extraordinary job. This is the only moving company that makes your move stress free and very reasonable price.
Steer clear of Merit Moving Systems (United Van Lines) (12/12/2006)
Can’t tell you who you should use, but I can tell you from my experience who to steer clear of! We used Merit Moving Systems (United Van Lines) for a move from Palm Desert, CA to San Antonio,TX. My furniture was in perfect, model home or showroom condition when it left California. When it arrived here in Texas my dining room hutch had a deep gouge in it. My arm chairs were all nicked up and parts of the fancy carved areas on the arms were gone. My living room table had the finial at the bottom broken off of it and I am missing one of my end tables. I am sure there are other things that are missing or have been destroyed or damaged in some way, but I haven’t gotten to everything yet. I filed a claim for the things I did know about - namely my dining room set. It originally cost a little over $25,000 for the set and now it is ruined! They denied my claim, saying that it was already like that when they moved it here. I have photos to prove that it was not damaged before they got a hold of it! Anyway, it’s just too big of a hassle to deal with right now, so I am letting this go for now. But, I will tell anybody and everybody who will listen not to use this company.

I have used Flat Rate Moving Systems for my move, and it was Outstanding! The set-up (flate rate) is great but what reallymade the difference was the movers themselves. All three werehardworking, took their job seriously and very personable; I have movedfive times in the last six years in the Los Angeles area and this was thefirst one that was problem-free and the first one where the movers wereprofessionals.
