Most moving companies follow a basic formula to calculate your bill: the number of men multiplied by the number of hours it takes to complete the move. It's a good thing we’re not most moving companies. With our system, you never end up paying for the things that don’t go as planned. Here’s how it’s done:

1.   How much stuff do you have?
We’ll calculate the amount of space that your belongings occupy in the truck, in cubic feet.

2.   What’s your moving style?
You can choose how you would like to move with one of our service packages.

• Economy — cheaper moving dates, recycled boxes, wrapping and protection
• Premium — wrapping, protection, materials, and travel time
• Elite — special packing and crating of antiques, fine art, wine collections, pianos, packing, unpacking and organizing

3.   Let’s look at the details:       

•  Distance between the truck’s parking space and the access door
•  Building attributes — walk-up, elevator availability, and building entrance access
•  Door and hallway width and special requirements

4.   Where are we going?

We’ll consider tolls, gas, driver’s time, and the distance from origin to destination. Unexpected circumstances, such as bad weather or traffic, are already taken into consideration and will not cause any additional unexpected charges.

5.   Do you have any special requirements?

• Items that require disassembly and/or re-assembly to enable their transport through doorways, hallways, and elevators
• Special handling of items and furniture that are oddly shaped or especially fragile and require multiple layers of wrapping and protection
