At our Bronx woodshop, our skilled team of carpenters is always ready to create custom wood crates and make sure your inventory is highly protected. Crating is suggested for items such as flat-screen TVs, antiques, fine art, wine collections, chandeliers, and sculptures.

Special Packing & High-Quality Materials
There’s nothing we can’t move — no furniture is too large or too delicate for our team of moving experts. On top of the items we pack standard for you, FlatRate offers a series of additional packing services to make sure your inventory is always protected whether you’re moving locally, cross-country, or internationally.
We also only work with top-tier packing materials. We begin your move by using durable moving boxes, not flimsy ones that can break at any point. When we can, we insist on the best tapes, blankets, and wraps in the moving industry.
Truck Fleet
FlatRate’s fleet of trucks is inspected daily and equipped with an air conditioner on-call for the hottest summer days — guaranteeing that your inventory is always cool and safe from humidity and other elements.
All trucks are also equipped with real-time GPS tracking so you can see the route your inventory is taking.
We also inspect all of our trucks and facilities on a regular basis and have them approved, daily. That way they are always clean and safe from infestations like bed bugs and other unwanted pests.
The FlatRate App
We innovate the way people relocate. Our online portal and mobile app make it even easier for customers to manage and track their moves. With the MyFlatRate app, customers are able to schedule their move, locate their truck, edit their inventory, sign documents, add extra services, and tip movers from wherever they are.
