Moving team, lead by Oscar, were so professional and friendly. We almost felt like they were friends by the end of it! Really made sure we were happy and all our stuff was well taken care of......We chose to pack ourselves to save some money, but having met the movers and seen how professional they were, next time we would just let them handle everything. Everyone was extremely professional from beginning to end (even though we changed our inventory four times before the move). We have moved several times in New York City, and this was our easiest by far. When we move again, we will absolutely use FlatRate.

Overall very satisfied with the move. The movers were incredibly nice and accommodating and super efficient. Excellent job packing and unloading. They even wore protective slippers while moving into the new apartment to avoid getting the floors dirty. These guys are really excellent.

The packers were quick and efficient, however, their packing was completely illogical and thus the unpacking was very difficult. I used elite service to move and it was expensive, but it was worth it. Using white gloves to touch delicate items and clothing was very thoughtful.

I end up paying more than I would for a competitor, but I know that Flatrate shows up on time, moves quickly, acts extremely professionally, and takes care of my stuff. The certificate of insurance was not provided to management ahead of the move (and I know I indicated it was required). The move was held up briefly while word was passed to me from the front desk and I called FlatRate to get it done. I think this should have been done as a matter of course by FlatRate. It was done quickly once the call was made.
